There are two ways to become one of the Girls of SAF:
1) The most common way is to compete in any SAF Model Search events and place in the top three in any of the "open" categories. You simply need to be 18 years or older, no competitive experience is required. Anyone who places in the top three is automatically awarded two things: SAF Elite status, which allows them to compete at SAF Elite events, and the opportunity to become part of the Girls of SAF. Most of the women you see here have become part of the Girls of SAF events through the SAF Model Search competitions. See www.SAFCompetitions.com for details.
2) The other way is to apply to the and include with that photos as well as a list of competitive accomplishments. While we prefer women to qualify through our SAF Model Search events, there are rare occassions where past experience coupled with a strong desire to be on the SAF team will allow a woman to become part of the Girls of SAF. In these cases, those who become part of the Girls of SAF will not be granted SAF Elite status. SAF Elite status is only awarded to SAF Model Search participants.
