The 2010 Interactive Nutrition SAF Summer Spectacular was held on June 26 in Toronto, Canada. The event was an incredible success with almost 50 women competing in three categories. The event's big winners in the open division were Taya Day, who won the open Swimsuit Model category, and Allie Daniels, who won the Fitness Model category. Both women received $500 cash and are now SAF Elite Pro qualified. In the pro side, it was Jennifer Lambert Foster in 1st, Vanda Hadarean in 2nd, and Mymuna Nasrin in 3rd.

Stunning SAF Elite star Mymuna Nasrin placed 3rd in the short category at the 2010 Arnold Amateur Bikini Championships held March 4 in Columbus, Ohio, USA (seen second from right in photo).

Mymuna was in a class of 37 women who came from all over the world to compete. This was Mymuna's first time competing at the Arnold Amateur and her top-3 finish signifies amazing success and a bright future for this SAF star. Mymuna will compete next at the 2010 SAF Toronto Elite Challenge on June 26, 2010.

A brand-new SAF high-definition video, 2009 SAF Ottawa Elite Challenge - The Top 3," has just been added to YouTube. The video contains excerpts from the 2009 SAF Ottawa Elite Challenge competition held November 7 in Ottawa, Canada, and features unique onstage and just-off-the-stage footage of the top-3 finishers: Lisa Faria (1st), Vanda Hadarean (2nd), and Gorretti Francisco (3rd). The top-3 placing qualified all three women for the prestigious 2010 SAF Elite Championship.

The Christmas season is upon us, but the work at GirlsofSAF.com never stops! 2009 is almost over and with the 2010 season fast approaching we're already planning our next competitions that will determine who joins the Girls of SAF team.

The next SAF event will be held June 26, 2010, in Toronto, Canada. As with previous events, this one will feature an SAF Challenge competition (the photo right shows Lisa Faria, the 2009 SAF Ottawa Elite Challenge winner), two "open" modeling competitions, and something brand new for SAF: competitive figure. That's four competitions in just one day!
